Leozette Roode holds extensive experience in public relations and campaign management, primarily in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as a Media & Meat Reduction Specialist at Humane Society International since December 2015, Leozette has successfully led various campaigns aimed at enhancing farm animal welfare in South Africa and manages the Green Monday SA initiative. Previous roles include Editor, PR, and Social Media Manager at SA Weddings, where responsibilities encompassed content creation, social media management, and event planning. Additionally, Leozette has held positions as PR Account Manager at Red Carpet Concepts and PR Account Executive and Head of Events at Greater Than, focusing on event coordination, media relations, and strategic communications. Leozette began a career in public relations as an intern at Eclipse Public Relations, and possesses a BTech degree in Public Relations from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
