Lead frontend developer at HumanFirst

Sebastien Daniel has a diverse range of work experience over the years. Sebastien started their career as a Web consultant and Technical advisor at Prospectus Marketing in 2009. Sebastien then founded and served as the Administration Co-founder of Nexwave from 2010 to 2012, where they also worked as an Internet Marketing Consultant. Sebastien also worked as a Technology Officer & Webmaster at ATI and CCHEC from 2011 to 2013 and 2012 to 2013, respectively.

In 2013, Sebastien began their freelance web development career, offering consulting services to local small and medium-sized businesses. Their services included website creation and management, CRM integration and management, as well as SEO/SEM and local network management.

In 2014, Sebastien founded Handy ERP and served as a Founder & front-end developer. Sebastien built a business management application from scratch, specializing in small-scale ERP, to help small businesses centralize their administrative tasks.

From 2014 to 2015, Sebastien worked as a Technology Director at BLUE Digital Agency. Their responsibilities included improving workforce IT infrastructure, optimizing web development practices, and analyzing and modeling technological aspects of client projects.

Sebastien then joined Intel Corporation in 2016 as a Software Engineer. Sebastien was involved in product development for desktop and browser extension platforms, as well as tool development for testing and integrated development cycle improvement. Sebastien also led in-house initiatives for developer growth and knowledge sharing.

Since 2017, Sebastien has been working as the Lead Frontend Developer at HumanFirst.ai. Sebastien has been leading frontend development for various projects and focusing on scaling the product team. Sebastien has developed conversational assistants as browser extensions, web applications, and is currently focused on their core product, HumanFirst Studio.

Sebastien Daniel began their education journey in 2007 at the Université de Sherbrooke, where they pursued a Certificate in Psychology. In 2008, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a minor degree in Business Administration and Information Technologies. Sebastien then went on to enroll at HEC Montréal in 2010, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Information Technologies in 2013.
