Christoph C. Richter

Christoph C. Richter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles over the years. Christoph C. is currently the COO and Co-Founder of Humanitec, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they were the CPO and Co-Founder of Humanitec from August 2018 to January 2020. Additionally, they served as a Member of the Board of Advisors for CompanyMatch starting in February 2019.

Before their roles at Humanitec and CompanyMatch, Christoph worked at XING from 2013 to 2018. At XING, they held various positions including SVP Business Unit ProWork from January 2016 to January 2018, Director Product E-Recruiting in 2015, and Senior Manager Corporate Development from November 2013 to December 2014.

Prior to XING, Christoph gained experience at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager from July 2008 to October 2013. Christoph C. also co-founded and co-owned KoRiSoft GbR from October 2006 to June 2008.

Additionally, Christoph had internships at AUDI AG in 2003, Salzgitter AG in 2000, and BMW Group in 2000.

Christoph C. Richter began their education in 1999 at Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they pursued a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering). Christoph C. completed their Dipl.-Ing. degree in 2004. In the same year, they also conducted a Diplomarbeit (thesis) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. Continuing their academic journey, in 2002-2003, Christoph undertook an Auslandsstudium (study abroad) program at the University of Waterloo, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Christoph C. returned to Technische Universität Braunschweig to pursue their Dr.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau, which they completed in 2008.
