Donny Li

Donny Li is an accomplished medical student and leader with extensive experience in research and community service. Currently serving as President of the McMaster Medical Student Council and working as a Research Assistant III at McMaster University, Donny also leads original research initiatives at William Osler Health System and collaborates on a multi-site study with Humber River Hospital focusing on palliative care technologies. As the Founder and Chair of AlumNav, Donny leads a diverse team to foster youth engagement in academic projects, while also contributing to the Air Cadet League of Canada as a Civilian Instructor and former Chief Commander. Additional roles include Board Director for Race To A Cure and leadership positions within Global Brigades and the Canadian Society for Epidemiology & Biostatistics, showcasing a strong commitment to public health, mentorship, and community engagement. Donny holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from McMaster University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree.
