Alex Downie

Alex Downie has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the hospitality industry. They most recently served as General Manager at Humble Grape, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant General Manager at Humble Grape from May 2021 to September 2021.

From February 2017 to October 2020, Alex worked as General Manager at Davy's Wine Bars & Wine Merchant. Before that, they were employed at Davy's of London as an Assistant Manager from September 2012 to February 2017.

Alex also gained experience as a Trainie Manager at Cassia Cottage Resort from July 2011 to April 2012. Their career started at ASK Restaurants Ltd, where they worked as a Supervisor from May 2010 to May 2011.

Alex Downie obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management from London South Bank University, which was completed from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, Alex furthered their education by completing the WSET LEVEL 2 course at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, specializing in Wine and Spirits.
