Andrew Short

Andrew Short is an Associate at Hunter Point Capital. Andrew was previously an Associate at CVC Capital Partners from June 2018 to March 2021, Investor Relations. Prior to that, they were a Junior Analyst at The Carlyle Group from May 2015 to May 2018, where they assisted in the fundraising process for Carlyle's Corporate Private Equity and Real Assets funds and co-investments. Short interned within the Solutions business overseeing private equity fund of funds, real estate fund of funds, hedge fund of funds and managed accounts while at Carlyle from May 2014 to August 2014. Andrew created a presentation regarding the private equity industry in 2014 in efforts to encourage high net worth individuals to invest in the asset class and presented it to a member of the management committee as well as several other executives. Lastly, they supported the fundraising process through conducting market research and revising client presentations. Prior to their career in finance, they worked as a Yard Worker at Ring's End Lumber from May 2013 to July 2013.

Andrew Short's educational career includes earning a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Business from St. Lawrence University, completing the Tuck Business Bridge Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and attending Pomfret School.
