Nicholas Hutson-Alvarez

Nicholas Hutson-Alvarez has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT management. Nicholas is currently employed at Hurtigruten Group as the Head of Cyber Security. Prior to that, they worked at RMD Kwikform as the Divisional Head of Information Security. Nicholas also held key roles at Exertis UK, Healthcare and Services Technology Ltd, Wincanton, FedEx, and Morgan Stanley, where they contributed their expertise in cyber security, IT management, and operations.

Nicholas Hutson-Alvarez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Maths & Computing from The Open University, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Nicholas later pursued a Master's degree in Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security at Abertay University, completing their studies from 2022 to 2024. In addition, Nicholas Hutson-Alvarez has obtained several certifications in various fields, including CompTIA PenTest+, Penetration Testing, Web application penetration testing, Ethical Hacking, and Certified Forensic Investigation Practitioner.
