Becky Chan

Art Director at Hustle

Becky Chan has a long history of experience in the design industry. Becky began their career in 2007 as Principal, Art Director & Designer at Chan Designworks, where they conceptualized, created, and executed designs for a variety of fashion, high tech, food, consumer product, and non-profit companies. Becky developed entire campaigns for clients, from initial logo design to all areas of brand extension including marketing collateral, brochures, advertisements, presentations, signage, website, online ads, e-blasts, videos, photo shoots and more. Becky also managed all aspects of client relations including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing of production artists, freelancers, and vendors.

In 2000, Becky Chan became Art Director and Senior Designer in Marketing at Wired Magazine, Condé Nast Publications, where they spearheaded designs for the Wired Store, Wired Awards, Wired NextFest, as well as events and ads for external stakeholders including GE, Sony, Volvo, Canon, and Jaguar. Becky created print and online marketing materials including invites, advertisements, data sheets, brochures, illustrations, event signage, direct mail, presentations, web banners, and give-aways to strengthen the Wired brand. Becky also created budgets, schedules, managed in-house designers and production artists, and outside vendors and freelancers.

In 2019, Becky Chan joined the San Francisco Symphony as Art Director, and in 2020, they became Art Director at Hustle.

Becky Chan is currently attending the University of California, Berkeley.
