Akshay Vyas

Akshay Vyas has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Akshay is currently the SVP Engineering at Hut 8 since November 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at US Bitcoin Corp, which merged with Hut 8. From 2022 to 2023, they served as the Director of Engineering at Chainalysis Inc. Before that, they held Vice President of Engineering positions at Eaze from 2019 to 2022 and at Quid from 2017 to 2019. Akshay also worked as the Head of UI Engineering at Docker, Inc from 2015 to 2017, as an Engineering Manager at Twilio, Inc. from 2014 to 2015, and as a Sr. Engineering Manager at StubHub from 2012 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Sr. Development Manager at Responsys from 2009 to 2012 and Engineering Manager at Yahoo! from 2006 to 2009.

Akshay Vyas completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University during the years 1993 to 1997.
