Michael Becks

Michael Becks is an experienced Aerospace and Mechanical Test Engineer currently providing technical leadership at NASA's Electric Aircraft Testbed (NEAT) with HX5, LLC. In this role, Michael supervises and manages daily activities related to testing and integration while offering technical expertise during partner testing. Previously, Michael served as the Lead Mechanical Test Engineer at Vantage Partners LLC, ensuring that the testbed and facility met partner requirements. Earlier experience includes leading the Cryoshroud Refurbishment Project as a Lead Aerospace Engineer at ASRC Aerospace and roles in mechanical design and process piping at NASA Glenn Research Center. Michael began a career in engineering as a Lead Structural Engineer at Erie Industries, Inc. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Ohio University.
