Tiara Sisson CPHR SHRM-CP

Tiara Sisson CPHR SHRM-CP has been working in the Human Resources field since 2003. Tiara began their career as MIS Manager at The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where they assisted the Director of Management Information Systems (MIS) and reviewed vendor contracts for compliance with State of Illinois statutes and County judicial orders. In 2006, they moved on to become a Program Administrator at Cook County, managing all aspects of services to 10,000 pre-trial inmates with a staff of 200 individuals and a minimum of 500 volunteers. In 2012, they were appointed Chief Administrative Officer at Level-(1) Global Solutions, LLC, where they oversaw administrative staff and program operations, staffing, human resources management, writing policies and procedures and representing the organization in various venues. In 2014, Tiara moved to United Airlines as an Employee Services Administrator. In 2017, they joined APL as a Sr. Specialist, Human Resources, providing value-added HR services to attract and retain employee talent in support of business initiatives. Most recently, in 2021, they became the SR HR/HX Manager at HYAS.

Tiara Sisson CPHR SHRM-CP has an extensive education history. Tiara obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations from Columbia College Chicago in 1985. Tiara then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Washington, Seattle WA in 1997. In 1999, they obtained a Certificate in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Roosevelt University. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Master of Science (M.S.) Candidate in Human Resource Development at Villanova University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021, a CPHR member from CPHR BC & Yukon in 2021, a CPHR from Chartered Human Resources Professional in 2019, a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and SHRM-CP from SHRM in 2017, and a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in 2016.
