Hector Macandrew has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hector is currently the Co-Founder of Hydr, where they have developed and implemented a new approach to invoice finance. The company offers seamless software integration with various accounting platforms and provides transparent and user-friendly services to customers.

Before Hydr, Hector worked at Calibre One for five years, initially as a Partner and later as the Managing Partner. Calibre One is an executive search boutique that focuses on building diverse leadership teams for technology-based companies undergoing digital transformations. During their time there, they also collaborated with prominent venture capital and private equity funds globally.

Hector's entrepreneurial journey began in 2010 when they founded Hatton Grange, a headhunting firm that partnered with private equity funds for transaction support and senior executive recruitment within their portfolio companies. Hatton Grange was acquired by Calibre One in 2015.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Hector worked as a Consultant at Blackwood and Skillcapital. In these roles, they contributed to various consulting projects and gained valuable experience.

Hector's career started at Scottish Opera, where they served as an Artists' Manager for five years, showcasing their early passion for the arts and talent management.
