Halime Yilmaz

Halime Yilmaz is a doctoral student at UCLA's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, commencing in August 2024. Currently involved in sales and marketing for both UCLA and UC Berkeley through Thomas Scientific, Halime also lectures for the Assembly of Turkish American Associations. Previous roles include research associate and assistant at the Nomura Research Group, medical laboratory technician at Acibadem Healthcare Group, and writer for Outlier AI. As a clinical researcher with Neuro International Collaboration, Halime contributed to advancements in healthcare and participated in bioprinting projects at the Innovative Genomics Institute and UC Berkeley College of Engineering. Halime holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Biology and another in Nutritional Science-Toxicology, both from the University of California, Berkeley, where studies were completed from 2020 to 2024.
