Derek Weston

Derek Weston has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Derek started their career in 1983 as a Technician at London Oxford Airport and then worked as an Engineering Technician at Oxford Instruments from 1986 to 1987. From 1988 to 1991, Derek served as a Research and Development Engineer and later as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Oxford Instruments. Derek then joined Materion Corporation (formerly Brush Wellman) as an Application Development Specialist from 1994 to 1998. Derek worked at ASM International as a Product Development Manager from 1998 to 2001. Derek then joined AKS Cutting Systems, Inc. as a Regional Sales Manager from 2001 to 2002 and later became the Director of Sales and Marketing from 2002 to 2004. Derek served as the Director of European Sales and Marketing at MTC Software, Inc. from 2004 to 2005. Derek then held the position of Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at MTC Software, Inc. from 2005 to 2008. Derek's most recent work experience is at Hypertherm Associates, where they started as the Director of Software Product Marketing in January 2009 and currently holds that position.
