David Hillstrom

Simulation Scientist at Infinity Labs

David Hillstrom has a diverse work background, beginning with their role as a Private Calculus Tutor in 2010. In 2011, they became an Algebra and Differential Equations Tutor at Oklahoma State University Math Department. From 2012-2023, Hillstrom worked at The Ohio State University, starting as a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Research Assistant and eventually becoming a Research Associate - Engineer, Research Specialist, and Research Scientist. David conducted fundamental research, trained students and staff in simulation methods and software tools, and collaborated with DoD contractors. Hillstrom's most recent position was working as a Simulation Scientist at Infinity Labs® in 2023.

David Hillstrom pursued their education in the field of engineering. David obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2011. After that, they went on to attend The Ohio State University, where they received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. David continued their education at the same institution and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2022.
