Joan Adrià Ruiz

Joan Adrià Ruiz is the Space Communications Research Area Director at i2CAT Fundacio. Previously, they were a Research Assistant at Polytechnique Montréal from April 2015 to September 2015. Joan also worked as a Research Assistant at ONERA from February 2014 to June 2014, where they characterized the worst-case curves of the Credit-Based Shaping (CBS) to define a framework that could be used to determine delay and memory boundaries of different network topologies. Joan has also worked as a Security Guard at the Montreux Jazz Festival from July 2010 to August 2010, and as a Network Developer at SkyDefense from July 2014 to August 2014. In addition to their research experience, Joan has also worked as a Coach at Campus Elite Jove from July 2013 to July 2013, and at Club Joventut Les Corts - JLC from September 2006 to July 2013.
