Martin Gebhardt

Senior Vice President Chassis Systems & Engineering Support at IAV

Martin Gebhardt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Martin began their career in the German Armed Forces, where they served in various leadership roles in aviation maintenance from 2010 to 2015. In 2015, they transitioned to the private sector and joined Robert Bosch Elektronik GmbH as a Project Manager for Manufacturing Coordination until 2017. Since 2017, they have been with IAV, initially as the Head of Department for Chassis Steering, Safety & Security, and currently as the Senior Vice President for Chassis Systems & Engineering Support.

Martin Gebhardt completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Environmental and Quality Management Systems from Ostfalia - University of Applied Sciences from 2011 to 2014. Martin also obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Computer Engineering from Bundeswehr University Munich from 2006 to 2009. In addition, they completed the Aviation Maintenance Officer Course from the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence in Fort Rucker, AL, USA in 2013. Prior to that, they underwent Army Officer Training in the German Armed Forces at Heeresfliegerwaffenschule, Bückeburg from 2002 to 2006. Martin also obtained certification as an Electronics Technician for Information Engineering from Siemens AG, Braunschweig from 1999 to 2002. Martin further earned the IPMA Level D / Certified Project Management Associate certification from GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement e. V. in April 2015.
