Kevin Minkun Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical research and artificial intelligence. Kevin Minkun started their career as an Undergraduate Student at USTC from 2008 to 2012. Kevin then worked as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University Medical Center from 2012 to 2016, where they contributed to multi-omic projects in the Ressom Lab. In 2012, they also pursued their Ph.D. at Virginia Tech and completed it in 2017.
Kevin joined iCarbonX in 2016 as the R&D Associate Director and Head of HCI. Kevin Minkun focused on applying machine learning and AI technologies to biomedical and public health fields. Kevin Minkun played a key role in building an ecosystem of digital life based on individual data integration. Kevin Minkun continued in this role until July 2020.
Currently, Kevin is a Principal Investigator at Innovent Biologics, where they lead the AI lab. Kevin Minkun'sresponsibilities include the development and application of statistical learning models and AI methods in healthcare data analysis. Kevin Minkun specializes in multi-omic data integration, AI-assisted diagnosis, disease prediction, and biomarker discovery. Kevin Minkun also utilizes their expertise in omics data mining from in-house clinical trials and neoantigen identification.
Kevin Minkun Wang completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Kevin Minkun then pursued further education and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 2012 to 2017.
