SVP, Certification, Seminars & Bank Director Program at Independent Community Bankers of America

Shirley Ringhand is the vice president of certification programs, seminars and the Bank Director Program for the Independent Community Bankers of America’s® (ICBA). She oversees the maintenance, development, and leadership of ICBA’s certification programs, webinars, seminars, and virtual offerings that serve more than 120,000 community bankers in the United States each year.

Ringhand ensures all certification programs, seminars, webinars, and the Bank Director Program stay relevant, timely, and valuable for ICBA members. ICBA’s Bank Director Program delivers online training, a bi-monthly newsletter, a governance helpline and an employment hotline to bank directors and reaches thousands of directors each year. In this role, Ringhand, provides strategic advice on education initiatives, curriculum, and new educational programs.

Before joining ICBA, Ringhand served as a banker for more than 20 years with her most recent role as assistant vice president at Sentry Bank, a $296-million asset community bank with more than 115 years of service in Minnesota.

Ringhand has a BS in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University.
