Andrea Savi Scarponi

Andrea Savi Scarponi is a Satellite Operations Engineer at ICEYE since December 2022, with prior experience as a satellite operation specialist. Previously, Andrea completed a short training program at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, focusing on the thermodynamic evolution and bubble growth during depressurization of cryogenic propellant tanks, which was part of a master's degree thesis. Prior experience also includes a junior engineering internship at TERMICA PROGETTI S.R.L., which contributed to a bachelor's degree thesis on designing an anti-vibration system for industrial purposes. Andrea holds a Master's degree in Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari.
