Alireza Jazayeri (AJ)

Alireza (AJ) Jazayeri has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alireza (AJ) is currently working as a Principal Software Architect at iCIMS since July 2019. Prior to this, they held positions at TextRecruit, an iCIMS Company, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2018 to July 2019, and as a Software Engineer handling iOS and Android development from June 2017 to September 2018.

Before joining TextRecruit, Alireza was a Co-founder and CTO at Flashmob (Quippy, Inc.) from September 2015 to June 2017. In this role, they managed an engineering and design team responsible for the development of various platforms. Alireza (AJ) also played a significant role in inventing and implementing geolocation based content delivery systems/algorithms.

Prior to Flashmob, Alireza worked as a Senior Patent Agent at Twitter from April 2012 to September 2015. Alireza (AJ) started their career at Osha Liang LLP as a Patent Agent from January 2010 to April 2012.

In their early career, Alireza worked at OpenText from June 2005 to January 2010, initially as a Software Applications Developer. Here, they developed and customized ERP applications and also played roles such as an Apps Development Migration Authority and a PeopleSoft Security Administrator. Later on, they took on the position of a Software Engineer, where they worked on developing commercial and open source Java product suites and drafting design and functional specifications.

Furthermore, Alireza started their career as a Data Translator at Dynamic Details in 2000, where they performed tasks such as PCB file format conversion and DRC and Netlist comparison using specific software.

Overall, Alireza has gained significant experience in various roles, including software architecture, engineering, patent development, and leadership.

Alireza (AJ) Jazayeri has a diverse education history. Alireza (AJ) obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Systems Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, AJ Jazayeri also holds two certifications. Alireza (AJ) is a Patent Agent, having obtained this certification from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in September 2011. Alireza (AJ) is also a licensed Real Estate Broker, having received certification from the Bureau of Real Estate in January 2008.
