Nicolas Shorey

Nicolas Shorey has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Nicolas is currently working as a Product Test Engineer at ICON, where they started in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Firefly Aerospace as a Test Operations Engineer from December 2019 to May 2022. Nicolas also gained experience as a Turbomachinery Pump and Seal Design Engineer at Alabama Rocket Engineering Systems from August 2018 to August 2019. Nicolas has also interned at Bosch USA as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in both 2016 and 2017, where they were involved in the development and optimization of assembly processes. Additionally, they worked as a Field Surveyor/Draftsman at Wilderness Surveying Inc. for a brief period in 2013.

From 2015 to 2019, Nicolas Shorey attended The University of Alabama, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics.
