Antony Hughes

Antony Hughes is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business development and commercialization within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Executive Director and Global Head of Business Development for Real World Evidence and Commercial Solutions at ICON plc since February 2020, Antony has held significant roles including Executive Director for the European Business Development in Commercialization and Outcomes. Prior to ICON, Antony was Managing Director at PSL Group and held various leadership positions at Medefield, Adelphi International Research, and Synovate. Antony began a career in project management at Gartner and 1by1, complemented by a strong academic background in European Business with proficiency in German and French from Brunel University London and Buckinghamshire New University.
