Bruno Marks

Bruno Marks has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Bruno is currently serving as the Vice President and General Partner at ICON plc since December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at PPD for over 10 years, holding various roles such as Executive Director of Business Development - Strategic Partnerships and Senior Director of Business Development. Bruno also worked at Covance Laboratories as an Account Executive for two years and at ProXara Biotechnology as a Senior Scientist for four years.

Bruno Marks obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular and molecular mechanisms of endocytosis from the University of Cambridge between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours 1st in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with Industrial Placement at the University of Bristol from 1992 to 1996. Their earlier education includes attending Liverpool BlueCoat School from 1985 to 1992, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
