Deepa Kulkarni

Deepa Kulkarni has a rich and diverse work experience. Deepa is currently serving as the Vice President of Medical Informatics at ICON plc since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Medical Informatics at PRA Health Sciences from 2015 to 2021. At PRA, they played a key role in providing data-driven insights to enhance the effectiveness of digital health solutions and patient-centric initiatives. Deepa also worked as an Executive Director of Medical Informatics and Analytics at PRA Health Sciences, where they led and managed complex informatics projects and served as a lead consultant for addressing complex business questions in preclinical and clinical development.

Before joining PRA, Deepa worked at IMS Health as an Engagement Manager and Senior Consultant in the Oncology division. Deepa was responsible for leading cross-functional project teams and delivering high-quality solutions and recommendations. Deepa also has experience working at Verispan, SDI as a Consultant and at Nektar Therapeutics as a Technical Writer.

Early in their career, Deepa worked at Ranbaxy and UCB Pharma in various managerial roles, where they gained expertise in strategic brand management, market data analysis, and organizing market research projects.

Additionally, they obtained certification in Generative AI Fundamentals from Databricks in January 2024.
