Karen Devcich has extensive work experience in the field of medical writing, quality & editing, regulatory affairs, and clinical trial transparency. Karen is currently working at ICON plc as the Vice President of Medical Writing, Quality & Editing, and Clinical Trial Transparency. Prior to that, they held the same role at the Strategic Solutions Division of PRA Health Sciences. Karen also has experience at Takeda, where they served as the Vice President of Global Medical Writing & Clinical Trial Data Transparency, overseeing medical writing operations and clinical trial disclosures. Before Takeda, Karen worked at TAP Pharmaceutical Products Inc. as the Director of Medical Writing and Publications. Karen began their career at Abbott, where they worked in scientific communications and clinical research roles.

Karen Devcich has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Seton Hall University. Karen also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology from the same institution. Additionally, they have an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
