Paula McSkimming

Paula McSkimming has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics. Paula is currently working as a Principal Biostatistician at ICON plc starting from November 2023. Before that, they held the same role at Veristat from January 2023 to September 2023. Prior to Veristat, Paula served as a Senior Statistician at SQN Clinical from January 2020 to December 2021. Paula has also worked as a Junior Biostatistician at The University of Glasgow from May 2015 to January 2020. Paula has experience outside the biostatistics field as well, having worked as a Business Analyst and a Graduate Operations Analyst at Barclays from March 2014 to May 2015 and September 2012 to February 2014, respectively. Paula started their career as an Operations Analyst - Intern at Barclays Capital from June 2011 to September 2011.

Paula McSkimming obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours degree in Statistics from the University of Glasgow in the period from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they hold several certifications in SAS programming and investment operations, acquired between 2014 and 2016.
