Rachel Cantwell

Rachel Cantwell began their work experience in 1995 as a Clinical Research Associate at Biotrin. Rachel then moved on to ICON plc in 1998, where they held the same role until 1999. Following this, Cantwell worked at Quintiles as a Clinical Research Associate from 1999 until 2000. Rachel then joined Covance as a Project Manager from 2000 to 2002. Cantwell returned to ICON plc in 2002 and held various positions including Senior Director of Global Proposals and Executive Director of Proposals. Rachel'smost recent role was Vice President of Procurement, which they started in September 2023.

Rachel Cantwell has a diverse education history. Rachel earned a BSc in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Maynooth University in 1990. Rachel went on to complete a Grad. Dip. in Toxicology at Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus in 1991. In 1993-1994, they obtained a Certificate in Health and Safety from University College Dublin. Rachel also has an MSc in Toxicology from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus, which they completed in 1995. Lastly, they obtained a Certificate in International Business Management from Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin in 2013.
