Scot Shepard has over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Scot began their career in 1994 as a Process Development Associate at North American Biologicals. In 1996, they moved to Bayer as a Process Development Scientist. In 1998, they joined Diosynth Biotechnologies as Director of Cell Culture and Fermentation Development. In 2006, they became Senior Director of Process Development at Biolex. In 2011, they joined Amgen as Principal Engineer of Process Development. In 2013, they moved to Takeda Vaccines as Senior Director of BioProcess Innovation. In 2018, they joined Seqirus as Vice President of Global Technical Development, where they oversaw Process and Analytical Development for the Influenza vaccine franchise. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Icosavax, Inc. as Vice President of CMC Development.
Scot Shepard attended Florida Atlantic University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Master's degree in Biology.
