Deepak Mishra

Deepak Mishra currently serves as the Director and Chief Executive at ICRIER, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Deepak Mishra was the Practice Manager at The World Bank from February 1999 to June 2021. Deepak Mishra also gained experience as an intern at the Federal Reserve Board in 1997, where responsibilities included preparing a policy note on the political and economic determinants of currency crises in emerging markets. Earlier in the career, Deepak Mishra worked as a Research Analyst at Tata Motors from 1991 to 1993. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from the University of Maryland, a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar College in Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
