Jiankang Bu

Jiankang Bu has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Jiankang is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Ideal Power Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of VP of Engineering at the same company from 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Ideal Power Inc., Jiankang Bu worked as the Chairman and CTO at Endeavor Microelectronics Technology LLC from 2015 to 2021. During this time, they focused on IGBT and FRD development for EV and fast charging stations. Jiankang achieved remarkable success in this role, including winning power module customer's acquisition offers and receiving honors and grants from China's national, provincial, and city "Technical Experts" programs.

Prior to their role at Endeavor Microelectronics Technology LLC, Jiankang Bu was a Senior Technical Staff member at Power Integrations from 2014 to 2015. Jiankang also served as a Technology Development Manager at International Rectifier, an Infineon Technologies Company, from 2009 to 2014. Jiankang Bu started their career at National Semiconductor, where they worked as a Senior Staff Integration Engineer and Principal Integration Engineer from 2005 to 2009.

Throughout their career, Jiankang Bu has gained diverse experience and expertise in technology development, engineering, and management.

Jiankang Bu obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
