Kate Jordan, MSW has a diverse work experience that spans from 2012 to present. In 2012, they began their career as an English Teacher at Hope and Home. In 2013, they served as a Youth Development Facilitator for both Asociación Rosa de Amor and Yachad. At Yachad, they facilitated weekly individual counseling sessions, led a weekly empowerment-based social skills group, monitored client progress, and assessed needs and abilities of prospective participants in inclusive Birthright programs. Kate also trained and mobilized over 100 high school students and adults with intellectual disabilities to lobby in Albany, NY and Washington, D.C. for disability rights. Currently, they are a Client Success Representative at Idealist Consulting.

Kate Jordan, MSW has an extensive education history. Kate obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) from Hunter College in 2015, with a concentration in Community Organizing, Planning and Development. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) from SUNY New Paltz in 2011, with a major in Sociology and a concentration in Human Services. Kate also participated in the SUNY Brockport Vietnam Program in Danang, Vietnam in 2010.
