Camryn Jackson

Camryn Jackson is a communications professional with experience in public relations, human resources, and event coordination. Camryn currently serves as the People Coordinator at Ideas United, a non-profit organization that promotes social change through communications and media. Prior to their current role, Camryn was the Communications and Human Resources Liaison at CONCERNED CITIZENS FOR A BETTER ALGIERS INC, where they oversaw the onboarding policies and procedures for new hires, delegated clients' procedures and activities, and requested and maintained daily organizational charts, generating invoices, and payroll processing.

Before their work in the corporate world, CamrynJackson was a Karel Fellow with The Frank Karel Fellowship in Public Interest Communications, where they assisted with public relations efforts for various non-profit organizations. Camryn also interned with Mary's Center, a community health center serving low-income families in Washington D.C., where they created effective messaging using language, graphics, and marketing collateral.

Through their various experiences, Camryn has developed strong communication skills that they use to effectively promote social change.

The educational career for Camryn Jackson includes a Master of Science in Digital Communication from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Mercer University.
