Ajay Ahuja

Ajay Ahuja, MD, MBA has extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Ajay is currently the Head of US Medical Affairs at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Medical Affairs at GSK, where they were responsible for the medical activities of 30 marketed medicines and a pipeline of 10+ assets-in-development. Ajay also served as the Global Head of Medical Affairs at Allergan and Head of Medical Affairs at Pfizer. Earlier in their career, they worked at Takeda as the Vice President of Medical Affairs and at Novartis as the Global Marketing Brand Director and Head of Strategy and Commercial Development. Ajay has also worked as an Attending Physician at Children's Hospital Boston and as the Director of Business Development at Tepha Inc. Throughout their career, Dr. Ahuja has demonstrated strong leadership skills and managed significant budgets.

Ajay Ahuja, MD, MBA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and German from Duke University in 1991. Ajay then attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from 1991 to 1995, earning their medical degree. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they attended Harvard Business School, obtaining an MBA in Business. Additionally, Ajay Ahuja obtained a Certificate in Neuroscience from Duke University.
