The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and scalability of the company’s global IT infrastructure. This role will involve supporting a distributed infrastructure and professionals across various regions and ensuring that our systems are secure, resilient, and optimized to support our global operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT environments in fintech or related industries and possess a strategic mindset to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.
Infrastructure Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement a global IT infrastructure strategy that supports the company's growth, scalability, and technology needs Azure infrastructure & Office 365. On prem and cloud.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT infrastructure initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the company's infrastructure.
Deploy/manage multiple integrated systems.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and network related issues.
Automate and create Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Bicep
Develop and improve infrastructure controls to ensure security, compliance, performance, and scalability.
Maintain architectural assets and best practices across infrastructure platforms.
Generate technical proposals for infrastructure solutions.
Knowledge of the Azure well Architected Framework
Manage and oversee workstation & mobile devices
Maintain information security policies and controls
Security & Compliance:
Implement robust security protocols and disaster recovery plans to protect the company’s IT infrastructure from threats and ensure business continuity.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, addressing vulnerabilities proactively.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost effective and high quality services.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and deliver infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a fintech or related industry.
Proven experience managing global IT infrastructures, including cloud services, networking, and security.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (see below) virtualization technologies, and network security protocols.
Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Office 365, Sentinel, EntraID/AAD.
Azure DevOps.
Configuration as Code.
PowerShell Scripting.
Systems integration experience.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing distributed teams.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as GDPR and control regulated accreditations, etc.
Experience in managing an external MSP for helpdesk
