Danilo Madonna began their work experience in 1997 as a Research Staff Member at Scuola Superiore 'Sant' Anna' di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento. In 1997, they also started working at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. as a Quality Manager, where they managed the company's existing quality system and extended it to ISO 9001 certification for Software Development.

From 1999 to 2000, Danilo worked as a Software Developer at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. In this role, they contributed to software development projects and fulfilled ISO 9001 quality system requirements.

Starting in 2001 and lasting until 2010, Danilo served as a Technical Project Lead and Software Developer at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. Danilo was responsible for communication with product owners, work breakdown and planning, and progress reporting. Danilo also conducted requirements analysis, object-oriented design, and database schema development. Additionally, they handled software development in C++, C#, and Java, software configuration management, documentation, bug/change request tracking, and release management.

From 2010 to 2014, Danilo held the role of Technical Project and Team Lead at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A., leading a small team and managing communication with the product owner. Danilo also performed work breakdown and planning, progress reporting, requirements analysis, and object-oriented design of a CAE desktop application. Furthermore, they analyzed WPF technology and evangelized its use in the development team. Danilo was also responsible for software configuration management.

From 2015 to 2015, Danilo served as a Technical Project Lead at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. In this role, they led software projects, communicated with product owners, performed work breakdown and planning, and reported progress.

Starting in 2016 and ending in 2017, Danilo worked as a Scrum Evangelist and Software Developer at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. Danilo participated in setting up an agile process, trained team members on SCRUM framework, and contributed to the agile development team using C++ and C#.

In 2017, Danilo became a Senior Software Engineer at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. In this role, they integrated solvers in the Simcenter 3D Multiphysics CAE application. Danilo analyzed Simcenter 3D APIs and extended Simcenter 3D capabilities with IDS solvers. Finally, they conducted requirement analysis and designed integration software considering host application requirements and constraints.

Danilo Madonna attended Università di Pisa from 1988 to 1996, where they obtained their Laurea degree in Computers Engineering.
