Justin Washtell-Blaise

Justin Washtell-Blaise has a strong background in data science and artificial intelligence. Justin is currently working as a Principal AI Scientist at Ieso Digital Health since November 2018. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Chief Data Scientist at SubjectiveSystems.com starting in 2017. From 2014 to 2017, Justin worked as the CTO and Co-founder of ForecastThis. Justin also held the position of VP R&D at Aggregate Intelligence, Inc from 2012 until September 2016. Before that, they were an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Research Fellow at the University of Leeds in 2011-2012. Justin has previous experience as the Head of Development at Cambridge Research Technology Ltd from 2005-2007 and as the Lead Software Developer at Acteon Communication and Learning from 1996-2001.

Justin Washtell-Blaise completed their education at the University of Leeds. Justin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Biogeoscience between 2003 and 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree (MSc) in Multidisciplinary Informatics, which they earned in 2007. Justin'shighest level of education is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistical Semantics (NLP), which they achieved from the University of Leeds in the period of 2007 to 2011.
