Shaimaa Sebak

Shaimaa Sebak has extensive work experience in the legal and regulatory fields. Shaimaa is currently working as the Legal Director at IHS Towers. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Legal, Internal Control & Compliance at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt from October 2020 to September 2022. Shaimaa also held the position of Head of Corporate Legal & Compliance at Etisalat Misr from November 2017 to October 2020. Shaimaa Sebak has a long history with Telecom Egypt, where they worked in various roles, including Director of Legal and Corporate Governance, Head of Legal International Affairs, Manager of Corporate Legal & Regulatory Affairs, and Associate in Regulatory Legal Affairs. Shaimaa'stenure at Telecom Egypt spanned from 2004 to 2017.

Shaimaa Sebak has a Bachelor's degree in Law from Cairo University, which was completed between 1999 and 2003. Shaimaa later pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, which was completed from 2008 to 2010. Shaimaa also has a Diploma in International Arbitration from the Africa Arbitration Academy, achieved in 2023, and a Membership from the London Court of International Arbitration, obtained from 2023 to 2024. In addition, they have obtained certifications including the In House Counsel Certified - ICC from the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) in 2019 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, which is ongoing starting from 2022.
