Program Assistant, Strategic Information at Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria

Mariam Opowu is a Program Assistant for Strategic Information at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, a position held since August 2020, where Mariam supports the implementation of the USAID TB Local Organizations Networks project aimed at increasing tuberculosis case detection and treatment in Nigeria. Prior to this role, Mariam served as a Cascade Monitor at the Ministry of Health in Abeokuta from December 2019 to August 2020 and was a member of the Local Management Coordination Unit. Mariam Opowu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Ilorin, completed in 2019.
