Richard Prego

Richard Prego is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at II-VI Aerospace & Defense, where responsibilities include coordinating software and FPGA activities, leading proposal development, and managing advanced laser technology development programs. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Technical Manager and Senior R&D Technical Manager at CACI International Inc and LGS Innovations, respectively, where Richard managed Photonics Lab software organizations. Richard has also contributed as an Adjunct Instructor at Stevens Institute of Technology and participated in the Engineering Leadership Development Program at BAE Systems. Early career experience includes various engineering co-op positions at Alcatel-Lucent and Integrated Microwave Technologies.
