Vice President Of IIX Values at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX)

Md. Reajul Islam has a diverse work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Md. Reajul started their career as a Monitoring Officer at Bangladehs Development Society (BDS) in 2012, where they were responsible for data collection, validation, and reporting. Md. Reajul then worked as a Program Audit and Monitoring Officer at E-Zone HRM Ltd., conducting program monitoring and audits against performance indicators.

In 2014, Md. Reajul Islam joined South Asia Partnership-Bangladesh as Manager of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Fund Raising. In this role, they developed monitoring structures, quarterly M&E plans, and led the M&E unit. Md. Reajul also drafted guidance notes on program monitoring, conducted trainings, and contributed to project proposals and budgets.

After that, they worked at Center for Zakat Management (CZM) as a Manager of M&E. Md. Reajul developed M&E plans for different programs, designed baseline surveys, and developed monitoring frameworks.

In 2017, Md. Reajul Islam joined ActionAid as a Senior Officer, where they developed M&E plans and strategies for various projects, including emergency humanitarian responses. Md. Reajul also conducted surveys and measured epidemiological trends.

Md. Reajul then worked as an M&E Specialist at Friendship NGO in 2019 and Senior Manager-MEAL at BRAC, where they led the development and implementation of integrated MEAL systems.

Currently, Md. Reajul Islam is working at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) as the Vice President of IIX Values. Md. Reajul'sresponsibilities include originating and managing impact assessment advisory projects, supporting sales and growth strategy of IIX Values, and building strategic partnerships.

Overall, Md. Reajul Islam has a strong background in M&E, with experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment.

Md. Reajul Islam completed their education at Khulna University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Sociology from 2007 to 2012. Md. Reajul then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Sociology at Khulna University from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including training in monitoring and evaluation, gender M&E, and early childhood care and education. Md. Reajul also completed courses in specialized statistics and health entrepreneurship development.
