George Kakoulides

Co-Founder & President at IKONA

George Kakoulides has worked in the medical field for over a decade. George began their career in 2007 as Chief Resident/Resident in Neurological Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. In 2014, they moved to Long Island Brain & Spine, where they worked as a Neurosurgeon. In 2015, they co-founded and became President of IKONA Health.

George Kakoulides obtained their High School Diploma from Kent School in 2001. George then attended New York University from 1994 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Philosophy. In 2002, they began attending The Fletcher School at Tufts University and obtained a Master's in Law & Diplomacy in International Affairs in 2007. During this time, they also attended Tufts University School of Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine - MD in 2007.
