Mac Monson

Mac Monson has a diverse work experience in the fields of chemistry and business development. Mac started their career as a Synthetic Organic Chemist at Asemblon in 2008 and then worked as a Chemistry Instructor at Lane Community College from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, Mac joined Cascade Chemistry (now Actylis) as a Synthetic Organic Chemist, and later transitioned to a Business Development role within the same company from 2019 until 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Business Development Manager at Iktos, where they connect clients to Generative AI drug discovery and retrosynthesis software platforms.

Mac Monson completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oregon from 2004 to 2008. They further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2011.
