Shane Lange

Dean, Workforce Development at Illinois Valley Community College

Shane Lange is currently the Dean of Workforce Development at Illinois Valley Community College. Prior to this, they were a teacher in the Lauderdale County School System from July 2009 to May 2012, where they taught science at Halls Junior High. Lange has been dedicated to education and workforce development throughout their career, and has helped countless students and adults reach their potential. Shane is a highly respected leader in their field, and their work has had a positive impact on many lives.

Shane Lange completed a Doctor of Education - EdD at Illinois State University in the field of Education. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Education - MEd at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Curriculum and Instruction. Shane also has a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician. Shane's Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS is from Illinois Valley Community College in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician.

They work with Gary Roberts - VP, Academic Affairs, Lirim Neziroski - Dean, Humanities, Fine Arts & Social Sciences, and Matthew R. Seaton - VP, Business Services & Finance. Their manager is Jerry Corcoran, President.
