Chelsea Corvalan

Chelsea Corvalan, MBA, has extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, currently serving as Associate Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at Illumina since November 2016. In this role, Chelsea leads a team focused on Indirect Procurement activities across the Americas and data governance. Prior positions at Illumina included Senior Procurement Manager and Procurement Manager, where Chelsea implemented cost-saving initiatives and optimized workload distribution among the buying team. Chelsea's previous experience includes roles at NuVasive and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, managing various procurement functions, including biologics and electronic components. Chelsea holds an MBA from the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Eastern Michigan University.
