Clare Kingsley

Clare Kingsley is an accomplished professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as Senior Director of Illumina Laboratory Services since November 2015. Clare has a proven track record as the operational lead for the 100,000 Genomes Project, delivering high-throughput DNA sequencing to Genomics England, and previously held positions such as Director of Scientific Operations within the Reproductive and Genetic Health division of Illumina. Prior to Illumina, Clare was Head of Drug Development Services at LGC, overseeing bioanalytical sciences and ensuring operational delivery within GLP, GCP, and GMP quality frameworks. Clare's educational background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester, an MBA from The Open University, and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Leicester.
