Renu Jayakrishnan

Renu Jayakrishnan is a Senior System Engineer at Illumina since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in biomedical engineering from previous roles at Purigen Biosystems and education from top institutions. At Purigen Biosystems, Renu held the position of Biomedical Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and executing systems integration for various DNA and RNA kits, as well as conducting multiple verification and validation studies. Earlier experience includes developing fluid dynamics methodologies as a RA III and completing a Master's project focused on cancer cell imaging during graduate studies at San Jose State University. Renu holds dual Master of Science degrees, one in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from San Jose State University and another from UC Irvine, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from SRM University.
