Director Of Growth Strategy & Operations

Operations · Remote · Remote possible

Job description

Imagen Technologies is a high-growth healthcare startup enabling patients to be diagnosed, treated, and managed at their primary care appointment, and avoids physicians having to refer out to hospitals, imaging centers, and other slow and expensive options. Today, we’ve built an AI-enabled platform that enables patients to receive immediate diagnostic tests, immediate results, and immediate next steps – all in a single Primary Care appointment, condensing time to diagnose and treat.

With over $160m in funding from Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. - from 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023, to 20+ states and 1.5M patients in 2024. By 2026, we will be delivering care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients per year.

We’re looking for a talented Director of Growth Strategy & Operations to support our commercial sales team and grow our partnerships with leading national healthcare organizations. You will report directly to the SVP of Growth, and work closely with our SVP of Partnerships, VP of Finance, and CEO, and be expected to travel up to 30% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and passion for healthcare, understands value-based care payment models, is energized by deal-based work, is a strong people manager and can grow a team, and thrives in highly complex environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 2-3 direct reports, while also playing a heavy “individual contributor” role – especially in the early stages of commercial team growth (which is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years).
  • Develop compelling presentations and sales collateral to support the sales process.
  • Present detailed financial analyses to assist customers in understanding Imagen's value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Support the sales process from initial contact through to contracting, ensuring timely follow-ups and objection handling.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical operations, customer engagement & care delivery, finance, to ensure Imagen can deliver operationally
  • Build and nurture relationships with key customer stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Identify new customer product needs and work with internal teams to support commercialization and new product pilots.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7+ years of experience, with 3+ in healthcare (ideally in care delivery, including primary & multi-specialty care).
  • Experience working in a startup or early-stage healthcare technology or services business preferred.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working in complex healthcare organizations, with extensive knowledge of the U.S. healthcare landscape especially payors, services, and value-based care companies.
  • Knowledge of physician organizations, challenges they face, financial and operational drivers.
  • Strong track record of building client relationships at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong process orientation - you can successfully bring together and manage the team necessary to progress a deal.
