Katie James

Katie James, CTRS, currently serves as the Employment Services Program Manager at Imagine! since December 2022, where responsibilities include staff oversight, budget management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, Katie was the Manager of Adult Services at GoldStar Learning Options, overseeing adult programs and day-to-day operations while managing staffing and client intake. Katie's experience also includes working as a Recreation Specialist at Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association, where program coordination and participant engagement were key focuses. Previous positions include roles at the National Sports Center for the Disabled, AccessAbilities, Inc., and other organizations, contributing to a well-rounded background in therapeutic recreation and support services. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy and Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington.
