Michael McGarry

Chief Growth Officer at Imago Systems, Inc.

Michael McGarry's work experience begins in 1998 when they joined TransVascular as the Manager of Pre-Clinical Research. Michael was responsible for managing and directing the pre-clinical research efforts for innovative products designed to treat patients with vascular disease. Michael also provided support to new product Project Teams and represented Pre-Clinical Research in design review meetings.

In 2004, McGarry moved on to XTENT, Inc. as the Clinical Marketing Manager. In this role, they provided clinical input and guidance to multi-functional teams involved in the development of products for patients with coronary artery disease. Michael also established and maintained physician relationships and provided strategic direction for clinical trial development.

From 2005 to 2008, McGarry worked at Alere Medical as the Manager of Program Development. Here, they designed and developed remote monitoring technology and explored new market opportunities for remote patient monitoring and disease management. Michael also directed reimbursement activities in support of Alere devices and programs.

In 2008, McGarry joined Ascension Health as the Director of the Innovations Accelerator Team. Their responsibilities included evaluating technologies and developing new business models to meet future health-related needs. Michael conceptualized and launched a web/mobile health engagement application and created the "Living Lab" program to accelerate the adoption of lifestyle technologies.

From 2016 to 2019, McGarry worked at Wellsmith, LLC as the Vice President of Growth and Partnerships. Their role involved developing and nurturing partnerships with healthcare providers, payers, and device manufacturers. Michael also defined the value proposition for stakeholders and managed relationships with device vendors.

In 2019, McGarry became a Strategic Advisor at CSIRO, where they helped launch a US Digital Health Innovation Research Center. Michael worked with regional healthcare delivery members to solve complex challenges and co-develop health solutions.

In 2020, McGarry joined Oxford VR as the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer. Michael established operations in the US and built and managed teams for various departments such as operations management, finance, HR, IT/data security, legal, regulatory/compliance, and customer support.

Lastly, in 2023, McGarry became the Chief Growth Officer at Imago Systems, Inc. Michael is responsible for redefining the medical imaging category by implementing a cloud-based Medical Software as a Service (MSaaS) solution that transforms existing imaging processes.

Michael McGarry graduated from Northwestern University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Michael then pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University between 2008 and 2010.
